Export Select shells are formed using Pearl’s exclusive Heat/Compression molding system, the same process used on all Pearl drums from entry-level to our top-of-the-line Masterworks. Pearl’s proprietary overlapping seams are gapless and allow the shells to vibrate uniformly, unencumbered by air pockets like others, for exceptional clarity and purity of sound
